ANTHROPOTOPOS – Architecture Dept. ART IN SPACE FOUNDATION
'Shaping an architecture that prioritizes the psycho-physical-emotional-spiritual well-being of human beings, thus responding to what are undeniably essential needs. A design approach that is carefully studied and systematically aligned with the scientific knowledge of its time, paying particular attention to the complexity of human interactions with built spaces, contextualized within contemporary reality. A design creativity that becomes an interpretative ability of the characteristics of a place, the environment, and the needs of those who use such spaces, while also duly considering all psycho-energetic and health-related variables that will influence design choices.
A thorough analysis, which in the design phase necessarily requires, in our opinion, a multidisciplinary approach: different evaluation perspectives that engage in dialogue, recovering a unified vision of reality. Ultimately, it will be the role of the architect to bring together and coordinate the demands of all the disciplines involved, implementing a design approach that rigorously expresses a holistic vision, respectful of both individual and collective evolutionary needs. 'The human being is an open energy system, connected to the environment through a continuous flow of information and magneto-electric signals; therefore, in the methodical design approach of living spaces, these scientific realities cannot be overlooked.
The shaping of an environment cannot be merely the articulation of space as a container of ergonomic functions, a balance of form, light, and colors, but rather the sum of all the components with which a living being interacts through its senses, influencing its life cycle with high or congested energies. A built space should never be obstructive but rather a promoter and multiplier of the circulation of vital energies, because today, more than in any other era, psychological well-being, health, and life sustainability are closely linked to the quality of inhabited spaces.
Architecture stands between man and nature: the architect should therefore align creative thought with the essence of human beings and the universal laws underlying this dimension of reality. 'A reality that is in constant change finds hindrance in the rigidity of spaces and the fixed functions assigned to architectural structures, meaning that the habitat must also adapt to the needs of a dynamic existence, because everything that is alive is in continuous motion.
'By nature, man is a creative being, a child of creation,' which leads to a legitimate necessity: having the possibility to use spaces that allow him to express his essence and uniqueness. These same spaces should also have the function of interpreting and satisfying the desires and needs of those who inhabit them, fulfilling their natural inclination to realize their potential, fostering inner growth, and supporting psychological and emotional evolution, with positive impacts on behavior and social interactions. The goal of the Anthropotopos Foundation is to 'promote and identify an interdisciplinary approach in the development of projects designed to host human activities,' fostering individual well-being and positive social interactions. For the architect, it will no longer be sufficient to focus solely on resolving ergonomic, livability, ecological, and design aspects, but a holistic approach will be required, 'a perspective with the broadest possible visual spectrum on human complexities and the fulfillment of their needs.' This approach aims to create a habitat that supports human activities from an energetic and psychological perspective, evolving multimodally, proactively enhancing health and well-being, and facilitating social interactions. Technological and scientific advancements already highlight the need for a more complex approach to residential space design, suggesting the integration of: • Territorial analysis • Analysis of shape and color energies • Integration of biofrequency technologies • Implementation of personalized neurosensory programs • Specialized artificial intelligence systems for managing functions • Versatile and robotic IoT furniture capable of receiving information from the system and thus anticipating the ever-changing needs of contemporary humans. 'A proactive space,' no longer a mere container of functions, but a 'place' dedicated to manifesting the unique essence of each individual, an adaptable habitat that meets the ergonomic, functional, recreational, creative, evolutionary, and spiritual needs of its inhabitants.
